Coquito ~Spanish Eggnog

"Coquito is the closest you’ll get to Spanish eggnog without the eggs. Its a coconut tasting beverage originating from Puerto Rico, popular during the Christmas season.

Yield 5 cups

½ cup water
½ cup cream of coconut
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 (15 ounce) cans coconut milk
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
½ cup Bacardi 151 rum
1 pinch salt

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth, the mixture thickens so refrigerate for at least and hour or until ready to serve.

Make ahead for a richer flavor
