HOMEMADE SANGRIA

Sangria is such a refreshing drink, thats made from wine and fruits and traditionally enjoyed by all.

Not that we need to add anything to our wine, so lets just say we are enhancing the flavor of the fruit, so lets Grab a pitcher mix some up and enjoy J

Ingredients:
  • 1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja reds, Zinfandel, Shiraz)
  • 2  Lemon (1 juiced and the other cut into wedges)
  • 2 Oranges (1 juiced and the other cut into wedges)
  • ¼ cup sugar or sugar syrup
  • 2 Cups ginger ale or club soda

Directions:
  1. Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice from the lemon and orange into the wine
  2. Add sugar and stir.
  3. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible). Chill overnight.
  4. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving.
  5. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice.
Addition ideas: sliced strawberries, peaches, handful of fresh blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, a shot or two of gin, brandy or rum, a cup of ginger ale, citrus soda pop or lime juice.

Crème Brulee

Ditch the fancy dress and pull out your blow torch because we are making Crème Brulee.
Crème Brulee, is a delectable dessert consisting of a rich custard base, topped with a contrasting layer of hard caramel and normally served cold.
This dessert is simple to make and only carries 4 ingredients. It’s one of the most indulgent desserts that you’ll ever make in your kitchen in under an hour. Trust me, as your spoon cracks  through the delicate sugar crust to reveal the silky smooth cream beneath, you’ll be happy you skipped dessert at that fancy restaurant.

Arianna's Instructional Video on Making Pizza

Yesterday My Precious 7 year daughter decided she didn’t need her mommy to make her dinner, because she is going to make herself a pizza.

Well, that she did.

She gathered all her ingredients, even went as far as using a cookie cutter to design the way her pepperoni should look.   I didn’t have to do anything other than work the oven and hold the camera.  #easy day for me J

She’s such a natural, so watch the Youtube Video and let her know what you think.
